About Lemon.io Lemon.io is a profitable, growing talent marketplace that connects vetted senior engineers with companies that need them. We’ve been in business for 10 years, have 60 people across Ukraine, Europe, Canada, and the US, and process over $16M in annual GMV. We compress the traditional 2–5 week hiring timeline down to 24–48 hours through a curated, pre-vetted supply of developers. Hiring is still broken. Recruiters spend weeks building candidate pipelines on traditional platforms, burning energy on unqualified leads. We’re building the product that changes that. Giving recruiters qualified, vetted candidates within 24 hours without the grind. This is a pivotal moment: we’re transitioning from a services-driven marketplace to a technology-driven platform. We need an engineering leader who can drive that transformation. The Role You will own engineering at Lemon.io . You’ll lead a growing team of engineers, make critical architecture and prioritization decisions, and be directly accountable for the speed and quality of what we ship. This is not a management-layer role. You’ll be hands-on, deeply involved in product decisions, and working side by side with the founder. What You’ll Do: Own the technical roadmap and make sure every engineering effort maps directly to business impact. No features for features’ sake. Lead and grow an engineering team that ships fast, iterates constantly, and treats complexity as a cost. Tackle the hard, multi-layered problem: automated vetting, intelligent matching at scale, demand-side bottlenecks. And figure out where the real leverage is. Make hard prioritization calls. Decide what we build, what we skip, and what we kill. Work directly with the founder and product team to define what success looks like before writing a single line of code. Build the engineering culture: high ownership, high speed, low bureaucracy. Who You Are: Product-minded, business-first Obsessed with simplicity First principles thinker Fast. Bias toward action Experience: You’ve led engineering teams (5–30+ people) at a startup or high-growth company. You have hands-on experience with modern stacks and are comfortable with AI/ML tooling. You’ve worked in a distributed, async-first team. Why Lemon.io : Profitable and growing. No fundraising pressure, real business fundamentals. A pivotal moment: you’re not maintaining an engine, you’re building one. The product roadmap is wide open. Direct access to the founder. No layers. Your decisions ship. A massive, unsolved problem: hiring is still broken. We’re building the product that makes it radically faster for companies to find qualified engineers. A team of 60 people who move fast, care deeply, and have survived the hard years together.

Turn new revenue opportunities into products construction companies pay for. Your mission Cosuno is the marketplace where construction companies run their tenders: general contractors invite subcontractors to bid, and subcontractors find and win new projects. More than €100 billion in bid volume has already been tendered on our platform. We see several ways to grow from here, such as new modules for existing customers or customer segments we don't serve yet. As our Senior PM for Growth, you'll own one of these opportunities and you'll help choose the next. Next to that, you'll take care of the day-to-day product work in your area. What you'll do Find the real problem. Talk to customers, many of whom aren't tech-savvy, dig into our data and work out who has the problem, how much it matters and what we need to build. Put AI to work. Construction still runs on a lot of manual work. You'll find where AI can replace it and turn that into products customers love. Test before you build. Prototype and run small experiments with real customers before Engineering commits, then ship with Design and Engineering. Bring it to market. Launch with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, from positioning and pricing to enablement, and measure what it brings in. After one year, you've taken your first opportunity to real customers, you're working on your second, and the new offerings bring in measurable revenue. How we work Full ownership. You own your growth opportunity end to end, from the first customer conversation to the revenue it brings in. Design and Engineering build with you. Close to the customer. You'll talk to customers constantly. Fast and data-driven. We ship every two weeks, test ideas before we build them and judge every launch by its numbers. AI-first. We're an AI-first company. AI is at the core of our product, and we work with Claude Code and other AI tools every day. For every opportunity, your first question is: where can AI take manual work off our customers' hands? What you bring 3–5 years as a product manager in B2B SaaS, and you want to stay hands-on You've taken a new revenue opportunity (a module, upsell, segment or market) from idea to a product customers pay for You've shipped AI features that customers actually use, and you use AI tools every day in your own work You work with numbers and experiments, and you change course when the data says so You explain complex things simply, to a site manager as well as to management German at C2 level and fluent English: our customers work in German, our engineering team in English Experience with two-sided marketplaces, or with construction or another industry that is just going digital. Why us? Real impact: You own a growth opportunity, with short decision paths to our Head of Product, and you see the result in our numbers. A head start: Your first opportunity is prepared for you, so you can get going from day one. Competitive compensation: A salary above the market average. Work-life balance: Work fully remotely from anywhere in Europe, or from our office in Berlin Kreuzberg. Top-notch equipment: A new MacBook Pro. A great team: Regular company off-sites and team events. Job security: A permanent contract in a stable, well-funded company. Growth & feedback: An open feedback culture with regular 1:1s and development conversations. About us Cosuno – Revolutionizing construction through technology. We are Cosuno – a fast-growing tech startup that is making the construction industry more efficient and transparent with our digital platform for tenders and procurement processes. Our goal: to solve the most complex challenges in the industry with innovation and simplicity. Artificial intelligence is the key to our solution: it analyzes millions of price data points and helps construction companies create precise and efficient bids. This not only saves our customers time but also helps them avoid unnecessary costs. But for us, it's not just about technology – it's about the people who drive it. At Cosuno, you will work with creative minds who are reshaping the construction industry. We believe in diversity because we know that the best ideas come from different perspectives. An inclusive work environment is a given for us. Join us – Build the future of construction. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

Our engineering risks and controls will be well maintained, and our release, change and post-incident processes will be stronger. You’ll have shipped code that automates control checks and evidence collection, and you’ll be a regular contributor to our codebase. By month 12 our resilience plans, including Important Business Service technical mapping, B& Continuity Planning and disaster recovery, will be current, and security and compliance will be easier to run and easier to demonstrate to customers, thanks to clearer ownership and smart automation. To Do This You’ll Own Control design and cyber security governance: translating standards into practical engineering controls and building and shipping the code that puts them in place, working with Engineering teams to get them live Certifications and attestations, from SWIFT and FPS today to schemes like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 in the future, including the documentation behind them Internal and external audits and customer due diligence requests, owning findings and driving them to closure Engineering Risk and Controls Self Assessments, controls and actions, plus recurring control activity such as chaos testing and backup/restore Code release and change management, improving the process and sampling releases to check adherence to policy Post-incident reviews, including follow-up actions and sharing learnings with the right stakeholders Engineering's contribution to operational resilience (DR plans and IBS technical mapping) and to managing engineering third parties alongside Operations We expect you to shape this role This description reflects what we need today. How you achieve these outcomes, where you focus your energy, how this role evolves—that's for you to define as you learn what our customers need and where our technical gaps are. Your background To ensure this, we're looking for people who have: A hands-on engineering or technical background, including experience writing and shipping production code with an engineering-first approach to turning standards into practical controls and technical delivery Experience in security, compliance, risk or assurance within a technical environment, including owning or significantly contributing to audits, certifications or attestations Strong knowledge of compliance, risk and cyber security principles, and a broad understanding of change and release management, incident management, operational resilience and third-party governance Sharp analytical and assurance skills: spotting gaps, assessing adherence to standards and following actions through Stakeholder management and influencing skills across Engineering, SMEs, auditors and control functions, with a pragmatic, proportionate approach to governance A love of writing - we have a major amount of written documentation that you will be contributing to, and we place a high degree of importance on clarity and readability (you can find out more here about how we write ) Ideally, you would also: Be familiar with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, SWIFT and FPS, ideally from a regulated fintech or challenger bank environment Have used automation and code to improve security, compliance or control processes and documentation What can we offer you? We are an early stage startup and we're working hard to expand our benefits package. We're planning to add to this list in the future.
